About us
Steelpaint is a German producer of high-performance 1-component PU-coatings (PUR) marketed under the Stelpant brand for shipping and marine, hydraulic and civil structural engineering.
Tried-and-tested solutions: Reliable–long-lasting– xtremely hard-wearing–protecting structures anywhere, from arctic to tropics! Steelpaint MCPU products are suitable for application at temperatures from -5°C to +50°C and at air humidity levels of up to 98 %. 2-component coatings often suffer from mistakes made during mixing or go to waste because of exceeded pot life. Our MCPU coatings overcome both these problems, and can be applied using brushes, rollers or airless spraying.
Steelpaint products withstand high levels of mechanical strain. Millions of sqm sheet piles and port structures have been successfully protected over the last 4 decades. Since almost 20 years we also provide ship owners all around the world with corrosion protection solutions for areas including but not limited to bulk/container cargo holds, hatch covers, lashing bridges, deck and hull areas and ballast water tanks.
We support our clients at dockings, analysing their specific anti-corrosion requirements and developing tailor-made concepts.
